The Armour S keeps the single 21700 format for 100 W according to the brand store. It is the intermediate compromise of the range, and it is less thoroughly documented than the others on the manufacturer site, which is worth knowing before you rely on a third party spec table.
The built in battery models
Here the device is sealed and the ageing of the cell sets the lifespan of the product. In exchange the maker can seal the chassis and claim physical robustness ratings that are impossible to hold with a battery door.
The Armour Ultra is the best documented model in the range. Vaporesso quotes 100 W, a 5500 mAh built in battery, charging at 9 V 2 A or 5 V 3 A over Type-C, and a 144.5 x 37.6 x 31 mm body. The weight deserves a careful read: 256 g for the full kit, 173 g for the mod alone.
The brand also claims IP68 and IP69K ratings plus the MIL-STD-810H standard, which covers a 1.2 m drop test among other things. That kind of claim is rare and verifiable, unlike the marketing adjectives that surround it.
The GTX One Pro is the tube format with a 3000 mAh built in battery aimed at mouth to lung, across 5 to 40 W behind a 0.87 inch OLED screen. Vaporesso quotes 137.25 x 23.2 x 30.05 mm for 140 g, and the tank is supplied at 2 ml here. GTX or GTi, the compatibility trap on a Vaporesso box mod
This is the point that costs the most in unusable coils. Vaporesso runs two distinct coil platforms with very similar names, and they are not interchangeable.
The brand writes it plainly in its store documentation. GTi coils equip the direct lung platform, including the iTank fitted to the Armour Ultra and the GEN 200. GTX coils equip the pod mods such as the Luxe XR Max 2. The two platforms are separate ranges with separate part numbers.
Put bluntly, buying a Vaporesso box and Vaporesso coils is not enough to guarantee they will work together. You have to identify the platform of the tank, not the brand on the chassis, and British listings do not always make that distinction obvious in the title.
